At last the shop is up-and-running! Getting my designer chairs out to the world wasn't so hard after all.
Designer chairs aside, the hardest part of the assignment was thinking of a product — not that a wooden chair is particularly ingenious.
After choosing my angle, adding my product was intuitive process. Perhaps if I needed to include multiple variants the process would be slightly more tricky, but that slight difficulty naturally arises with when adding variables.
Overall, the product screen was quite simple. I like how you can view the source code of your text — it makes it easy to fine-tune colours.
Setting the national tax rate was also simple, and the opinion to set regional rates is great.
As for the adding Mapify, the app was easy to find, and quick to set-up.
I look forward to delving deeper into Shopify's customizations. From here on out, anything else is icing on the cake.
